Crewing

A g-g-g-ghost.

Anomalous runs with a crew of 20-30 people, split into various teams and roles. Some of these roles may overlap across teams.

Every member of Crew will receive a personal schedule explaining what they are needed to do when.

Crew places are free. Meal Tickets are purchased separately. Both are booked via the Unlikely Stories Website.

Combat Encounter Team

The Combat Encounter Team are dedicated to crewing (or “Monstering”) for combat encounters, which may take place as part of Excursions (where Players travel to a location outside their base camp) or Incursions (where the Monsters come to them). More information about these Encounter types can be found at Incursions and Excursions.

Some Combat Encounter Team roles will be simple “gribbly” Monsters that just want to devour the Players, while others might be aspects of a complex hostile anomaly. As part of the Combat Encounter Team, you'll be asked to provide a variety of challenges for Players to overcome (or be horribly defeated by), whether that involves instigating stand-offs at gunpoint, charging Players attempting a delicate and easily broken ritual, or simply being a scary yet stabbable creature.

Camp Plot Team

The Camp Plot Team are dedicated to playing NPCs, creatures and anomalies within the Players' base camp. Some will be helpful, some will be hostile, and some will be somewhere in the middle. Some will introduce puzzles to be solved by players, others will present problems that need to be overcome with diplomacy, and others are just there to enrich the gameworld and build immersion.
